ReportMail Security
We take security of data incredibly seriously and working with clients in the financial services industry we regularly audited. As part of our ISO27001 accrediation we have to have explict information management controls in place.
These include:
- Confidentiality - ensuring that access to information is appropriately authorised
- Integrity - safeguarding the accuracy and completeness of information and processing methods
- Availability - ensuring that authorised users have access to information when they need it
ReportMail requires a minimum 8 character password and access is IP address restricted to username and password. Five incorrect password attempts results permanent lockout and can only be unlocked by the systems team.
Data Protection and Back Up
All client data is stored on mirrored SQL servers in order to provide full resiliency. ReportMail deploys standard web based security measures to protect data inclusive of firewalls as well as the required encryption (AES 256 standard).
All data is backed up fully on a daily basis as well as incremental data back-ups every three hours – more so than many major corporations. We realise how important your data is and therefore our commitment to ensuring the most up-to-date data is consistently recorded. For added security measures, ReportMail is also backs up data to a remote server.
Each email address is recorded with the ReportMail account user ID. This ensures that mailing lists remain the property of the account holder only. Usernames and passwords run through SSL.
Abstracts is registered with the Data Protection Act (DPA) in order to store client data on the client’s behalf only and we are therefore unable to use or provide this data to any third party.
